Your doctor will tell you when to stop taking FERACCRU®. Even if you feel better, it is important to keep taking FERACCRU® to fully treat iron deficiency or iron deficiency anaemia and build up iron stores, according to your doctor's advice.
Is FERACCRU® suitable for vegans?
No, FERACCRU® contains lactose.
Is FERACCRU® sugar-free?
No, FERACCRU® contains lactose and maltol. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking FERACCRU®.
Is FERACCRU® suitable for people with diabetes?
The very small amount of sugar per capsule is unlikely to cause changes in blood glucose levels. Therefore, FERACCRU® can be used by people with diabetes who have been prescribed it, according to their doctor's advice.
Can I open FERACCRU® capsules?
No, FERACCRU® capsules should not be opened. They should be swallowed whole.
Can children take FERACCRU®?
No, FERACCRU® should not be given to children or adolescents aged 17 and under. It has not been studied in this age group.
Can I take FERACCRU® if I am pregnant?

Where should I store FERACCRU®?
Store FERACCRU® out of the sight and reach of children. Also, store it somewhere below 25°C.
How long can I use FERACCRU® once I have opened the bottle?
You should use the capsules within 45 days of opening the bottle.
What should I do if it goes past the expiry date?
Do not use FERACCRU®. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about getting more capsules.
